The ICAPS Executive Council is seeking Expressions of Interest to host the 2012 International Conference on Automated Planning & Scheduling. ICAPS is the premier international conference focused on the field of automated planning and scheduling.
- ICAPS'10 took place in May 2010 in Toronto, Canada.
- ICAPS'11 will take place in June 2011 in Freiburg, Germany.
Expressions of Interest to host ICAPS'12 should be SHORT (2 pages max) and include information about:
- Organizers (conference and program co-chairs team, focus on their experience in organizing similar events)
- Conference dates (approximate, must be in June or around June)
- Location (attractiveness, accessibility, existence of suitable facilities and accommodation, regional critical mass in P&S)
- Planned co-location arrangements (if any)
- Any other compelling argument supporting the proposal
Deadline:July 1, 2010.
The council will invite submissions of full proposals based on the Expressions of Interest received. The deadline for submissions of full proposals will be October 1st, 2010.
